Large waterspout moves ashore in Fort Walton Beach

Residents captured what appeared to be a large waterspout moving on shore to become a possible tornado Sunday in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- A large waterspout was seen moving ashore along the Florida panhandle.

Residents captured the storm on video Sunday.

About 45 miles west, authorities say several homes were damaged by a suspected tornado.

Homeowners called Escambia County emergency officials to report damage. Officials said about five homes incurred slight to moderate damage in Molino.

There were also several downed trees and power lines. No injuries were reported.
