100-year-old woman spends her time volunteering

Terry Pellegrino has a cane but only uses it when she has to walk long distances. “It doesn’t feel any different,” she said about hitting the century mark. “I still do the same things.” The Palm Harbor woman turned 100 on May 28. She’s been volunteering with Suncoast Hospice for 14 years. She spends three days a week visiting with patients and doing odd jobs like laundry. She says it gives her energy.
