World-class figure skaters training in Florida
Silvia Fontana Zimmerman grew up in Rome, Italy. John Zimmerman grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. They married in 2003 after meeting at ice skating competitions.
Their story is an unexpected pairing and it continues on the ice today. The husband-wife team has been coaching together for 12 years and they choose to do it in an equally unexpected place.
