Gator makes an appearance at Manatee County elementary school
It’s almost time for summer vacation, and that means most students and staff members are getting ready to take a break from the school classrooms and hallways. Except, one four-legged, scaly student with a tail didn’t get the memo in Manatee County.
School officials said an 8-foot, 2-inch-long alligator was spotted roaming the halls of Palm View Elementary School Wednesday in Palmetto.
