Hillsborough commissioners vote to allow sales tax fund to help pay for other projects
Hillsborough County commissioners voted to allow money generated from a half-cent sales tax increase to be used for other projects not on the original plan.
Last November, voters approved an effort by All For Transportation to use new sales tax funds to pay for specific transit projects. A year earlier, commissioners approved more than $800 million for transportation improvement projects around the county. https://on.wtsp.com/2M42iO6
