The Tarpon Springs Police Department arrested a retired clergy member accused of sexually battering a woman last week.
The police department received a complaint from a woman on May 27. The woman reported she had been sexually battered on Pinellas Avenue earlier that day, police say.
Following an investigation, detectives say the suspect was identified as Koumianoa Hatzileris, 71, who lives at the location where the alleged sexual battery reportedly took place.
