That half-sunken boat off the Howard Frankland Bridge soon might finally be hauled away
Chances are you’ve seen it during your drive across the Howard Frankland Bridge.
For seven months, a white wooden fishing boat has sat stuck in the shallow waters off the northbound exit of the bridge, baffling drivers and blocking homeowners’ bayfront views.
While neighbors say it’s getting on their nerves, the boat’s owner says it’s all a misunderstanding and now the county is finally making moves to remove it.
