HOLIDAY, Fla. — A person died from their injuries after they were taken to an area hospital following a late-night house fire.
Firefighters were sent Saturday night to the home in the area of Moog Road and Skyland Drive, according to Pasco County spokesperson Ryan Hughes.
Firefighters pulled two people from the home, the official said Saturday. In an update Sunday morning, one of those people died.
Crews shut down roads in the area as firefighters could work to put out the flames.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
