FHP: 6-year-old hit by motorcycle in Clearwater, sent to hospital

CLEARWATER, Fla. – First responders took a 6-year-old to the hospital after getting hit by a motorcyclist on Thursday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Steve Gaskins said around 6:37 a.m., the motorcycle was traveling eastbound along Ulmerton Road just west of 62nd Street North. The child then walked into the motorcycle’s pathway.

The roads are clear since the crash.

Crews took the child to Bayfront Medical Center. Gaskins did not know the condition of the child.
