Crews respond to fire at Palm Harbor condo complex

The fire started on the first floor and spread to the attic, fire officials say.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Multiple units responded to a fire in the Cobbs Landing neighborhood of Palm Harbor Saturday afternoon.

A three-story condo complex, located at 3311 Haviland Court, sustained heavy damage, according to Palm Harbor Fire Rescue (PHFR). 

Twelve units were affected, which were all occupied, but no one was injured.

Officials say the fire started on the first floor of the building and eventually spread to the third floor and the attic above.

The flames were out as of 3:15 p.m.

PHFR has not confirmed the cause of the fire at this time. Check back with 10 Tampa Bay for updates.

Multiple units responded to 3311 Haviland Court for active fire in a first floor apartment unit. Firefighters arrived onscene to fire rapidly spreading to the third floor units and into the attic above. No victims and heavy fire damage to the building.
