WIMAUMA, Fla. - One person was found deceased following a brush fire, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said.
Firefighters were called out to Bonita Drive at about 7:47 p.m., where multiple small structures and an RV were on fire. Flames then spread to nearby brush and trees.
Three adults escaped the fire, but at some point one of them became unaccounted for, authorities said.
"The HCSO Aviation unit was requested to fly over the scene and search for the missing person due to the thick brush; the person was later discovered and was deceased," fire rescue said.
