10 Weather: Not as humid start to the new week

Rain chances remain low as slightly drier air settles in place, but the heat is on this week!

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Still hot but not as humid today! Thankfully we will have a small chance for our inland zones to see a stray shower to help keep these temperatures a little cooler.

Afternoon highs will be in the 90s with plenty of sunshine as northwest winds gently usher in drier air keeping rain chances on the lower side for much of the week.

Tuesday rain chances increase slightly so hopefully you get a little of that rain because we will be hot and dry the rest of the week. Drier air will also keep the humidity level on the lower side, giving us a break from the muggy air. Rain chances increase slightly by the weekend.

Monday: Sunshine returns with a light northwest breeze and lower humidity. Highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with an isolated sea breeze shower possible for our inland locations.  High temperatures in the lower 90s.

Wednesday: Sunshine with calm winds. Afternoon temperatures in the low to mid-90s.
