Dan Mullen is switching divisions in the Southeastern Conference
The Mississippi State coach has agreed to the vacancy at Florida, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.

The person requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publically about the situation.
Mullen is the second-winningest coach in Mississippi State history with a record 69-46 in his nine seasons.
He previously served as offensive coordinator at Florida under Urban Meyer before leaving for Starkville after the 2008 season when the Gators won their second national title in three seasons.
