Clearwater, Florida -- Fire & Rescue and the Clearwater Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at Keene Road and Drew Street just before noon today.
The motorcycle driver was treated at the scene by firefighters and transported to Bayfront Medical Center with potentially life threatening injuries.
The Sunstar unit that was transporting the patient became disabled on the Bayside Bridge while en route to the hospital. A Rescue unit, who was following Sunstar took the patient to the hospital.
The motorcycle driver is a 60-year-old female. Clearwater Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash. Northbound lanes of Keene Road between Cleveland and Drew are currently closed.
