David Petraeus Scandal: Jill Kelley and the general's alleged mistress, Paula Broadwell

Gen. David Petraeus resigned his post as CIA director on Nov. 9, 2012, admitting to an extramarital affair with journalist Paula Broadwell.

FBI investigators who were checking into a security issue involving the CIA Director's computer stumbled upon emails between Petraeus and Broadwell.

An official says 37-year-old Jill Kelley in Tampa, Florida, received the emails from Petraeus biographer Paula Broadwell that triggered an FBI investigation.

Broadwell was a writer and reserve Army officer who wrote the 2012 book "All In: The Education of General David Petraeus."
