ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Today we continue our slight summertime-like pattern as temperatures make a run for the upper 80s by the afternoon and the sea breeze starts to act up once again late this afternoon. The sea breeze with the winds creates a collision which causes another chance for a few daytime-driven pop-up showers for the afternoon and early evening hours, especially inland.
Thursday: With more energy added to the atmosphere we could hear a rumble of thunder or two. There are going to be more isolated showers returning as daytime highs climb into the upper 80s.
Friday: Your fantastic Friday features more heat and humidity with a little relief in the afternoon with a stray shower.
