'We can't cuff him': Gator removed from 104-year-old woman's home

Law enforcement responded to the call about a gator on Monday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville deputies and a licensed trapper removed an alligator from a 104-year-old woman's home on Monday.

Law enforcement responded to the nuisance gator call with trapper Mike Dragich. They are seen on video holding the gator and carrying it away from the property near Atlantic Boulevard and Art Museum Drive, according to a Facebook post by the sheriff's office.

"We can't cuff him," one of the deputies said. "You are under arrest. You gotta leave the grandmas alone."

Last month, Dragich was seen barefoot, wrestling an 8-foot alligator in downtown Jacksonville in a viral video. He is known to catch gators and posts videos of himself with them to his more than 70,000 followers on his Instagram account called bluecollar_brawler

The sheriff's office said Dragich was "chomping at the bit to snap into action." This smaller gator's mouth was taped shut, and its legs were restrained so it could be transported and relocated.

Dragich told deputies the gator is alive and well.
