Tampa police searching for man accused of breaking into coffee shop, stealing money

Law enforcement says the man is believed to be about 40-50 years old and has short black hair with facial hair.

TAMPA, Fla. — Authorities are looking for a man who they say was caught on camera breaking into a coffee shop early Sunday morning in Tampa and stealing money from the register. 

At around 1 a.m., the accused burglar used a brick or rock to break the glass of the front door of Corona's Coffee Shop located on North Nebraska Avenue, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release. 

The man then continued to go inside the business. 

As seen in a video provided by the police department, the man climbed over a counter to get to the register. He then pulls the register open and takes the money from inside. 

Law enforcement says the man is believed to be about 40-50 years old and has short black hair with facial hair that looks like a goatee.
