TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police said 200-300 people were sent away by officers after a house party got out of hand on West Azeele Street.

Officers on patrol noticed the large gathering early Sunday morning and quickly cleared the home and nearby streets, the Tampa Bay Police Department (TBPD) shared on Facebook.

Body cam video from the department shows officers ordering the clear-out as hoards of people exit the home.

"You gotta go somewhere else," police can be heard saying in the video. "The owner wants everybody to go."

Police reported no injuries, but issued the following warning for residents ahead of Memorial Day weekend via social media:

"Hosting large gatherings on property that isn’t yours or without proper permitting is not tolerated. So, if your plans this upcoming holiday weekend include hosting a gathering similar in nature, you may want to think twice."

Besides gatherings, an even larger number of travelers are expected to hit the roads and sky this holiday weekend.

The AAA (American Automobile Association) says a record number of 43.8 million people are expected to travel this Memorial Day. That includes 2.5 million Floridians.
