A married man made a joke about gay marriage on his Facebook page and it cost him his job.
According to WBBH, Ryan Uhler posted a photo on his Facebook page asking why he can marry his dog Rocco. Uhler says the photo was just a joke but his employer, Grace Advisory Group on Fort Myers, did not find it funny and fired him.
A lawyer pointed out that Florida is an "at will" state, meaning employers don't need to give a good reason for firing without notice.
Uhler was a digital marketing specialist.
