RIVERVIEW, Fla. — The eastbound lanes of Gibsonton Drive were shut down for hours after a deadly motorcycle crash in Riverview Sunday morning.
A Nissan Frontier collided with a BMW motorcycle after the Nissan didn't yield and the motorcyclist hit the car, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The 29-year-old Tampa man who was driving the motorcycle was fatally injured. The driver of the car, a 59-year-old Gibsonton woman, suffered minor injuries, deputies said.
Traffic cameras show roadways in the area are cleared as of Sunday evening.
