Hello! My name is Josh and like so many of us here in Tampa Bay, I’m a recovering Midwesterner.
In 2017, my now-husband and I decided we needed a break from the brutal winters. We packed up our cars in Michigan and headed south on I-75 for warmer pastures.
Our "welcome to Florida" was complete when, mere weeks after our arrival, Hurricane Irma hit.
But we made it through that and now here we are, several hurricane seasons and scorching summers later still soaking up everything Florida has to offer — because you just can’t beat our “winters.”
And we’re clearly not the only ones who feel this way.
This is such an exciting time to be in Tampa Bay as our community is experiencing incredible growth. It’s an honor to be able to cover the positives while also shining a light on some of the inevitable growing pains.
I anchor weeknights at 5 and 5:30 p.m. on 10 Tampa Bay. I'm also our VERIFY guy. If you see something you want our team to VERIFY you can find my email below or you can even text us at 727-577-8522.
I’ve loved news ever since I can remember. I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit. It’s a great news market – chock full of hometown pride, fascinating people and prominent industry – and the local evening news was a staple in our house. I knew I wanted to do that.
It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing that now for more than a decade and I have to say it’s a still a pinch-me moment nearly every day. I’ve been honored to win awards, travel the country, and tell the stories that matter to you.
It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.
Message me on social media or please say hello if you see me out around town with my husband and our rescue pup. Chances are we’re looking for food (restaurant recommendations are always welcome)!
