Gasparilla Music Festival announces first batch of live bands for 2024

The annual festival is returning to the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in February 2024, and this time, there's a new addition to the festival.

TAMPA, Fla. — The 2024 Gasparilla Music Festival has just released its first list of bands that will be performing live at the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in February. They've also offered details on a new venue.

The festival, which has operated annually over the past 13 years, offers three days of live music, food, and other special events, including Silent Disco on Friday and Saturday nights and its family friendly Kids Fest on Sunday afternoon.

“With our amazing new venue, we are able to take the festival experience to another level of experiences and fun,” said David Cox, the Executive Director of the Gasparilla Music Foundation.

That new venue is the Robert’s City Village (across from the Robert's City Stage), which will include a marketplace, refreshments and live art installations. The festival will also be expanding its Bike Valet service near the main gate.

Some of the notable acts in the first wave lineup announcement include Young the Giant, Louis the Child, Big Gigantic, and Lake Street Dive. More than a dozen other local and regional acts have been announced, including performances from the Tampa Metro Youth Orchestra and the Mt. Zion Gospel Choir.

The festival plans to release additional information soon, including the full lineup of bands, the full schedule of dates and times, and details about food, transportation and lodging. Tickets are now available starting at $45.
