Tampa is a big sports town, but the passion runs deep for baseball. More than 90 Tampa Bay residents have made it to the majors, and it all started with Al Lopez. Tampa’s remarkable place in baseball history will be chronicled at the Tampa Baseball Museum. But in order to celebrate this history and complete the museum, money needs to be raised.
