With the help of self-described salsa aficionados and trained sensory panelists, Consumer Reports recently tested 50 different types of salsa and found some very good picks. If you're looking for a salsa with unusual ingredients, Consumer Reports found three that rated Very Good: Desert Pepper Trading Company Two Olive Roasted Garlic is made with green and black olives; Green Mountain Gringo has a cumin flavor and is sweeter than the others; and Guiltless Gourmet Southwestern Grill has corn, carrots, and a chile-pepper flavor.
