Tampa International Airport gets a lot of praise when U.S. airports are ranked, and a travel website has heaped more upon it.
UpgradedPoints.com, which said it offers insider strategies to maximize travel rewards, ranked TIA the third-best airport in the country, topped only by Portland International at No. 1 and Denver International at No. 2.
TIA ranked second in overall satisfaction, tied for first for Wi-Fi, tied for third in airport public transit and lounge access, and tied for seventh in average delay/cancel times.
The website also ranked the worst airports, and John Glenn Columbus International Airport got that dubious honor.
