LARGO, Fla. -- Employees opening the Country Skillet heard an unusual banging sound coming from the ceiling of the restaurant early Saturday morning.
One employee ran outside to see what the commotion was: there was a man trying to exit the restaurant through the roof. They called the police.
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies arrested Chris D. Williams, 56, who broke into the restaurant located at 2839 Roosevelt Boulevard around 5:30 a.m.
According to the report, Williams was non-confrontational and remained at the scene until deputies arrived. He was booked into Pinellas County Jail.
