BRADENTON, Fla. — Manatee County deputies are looking for a driver accused of running away after crashing a stolen car into a Bradenton duplex.

Deputies say the crash happened after an undercover deputy noticed a black Honda driving recklessly westbound from 2nd Street West.

The deputy confirmed the vehicle was stolen and was taking down the information when the car failed to make the curve, crashing into the living room of a duplex, according to deputies.

The driver ran from the scene and a 15-year-old passenger was detained after the crash.

The duplex was evacuated and no one was reportedly injured.

Anyone with information on the crash or the driver is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at (941) 747-3011, or Crime Stoppers at (866) 634-TIPS.
