Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy plans to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame tonight with an inspirational speech.

Our news partners at The Tampa Bay Times report Dungy gave a preview of his induction speech at a news conference:

"Don't ever let anyone even allow you to think you can't do something. Set your goals high and even if it's never been done before, if that's your goal, you can do it. I didn't set out to be the first African-American coach to win (a Super Bowl), but I wanted to be excellent. I wanted to coach. I came in when there weren't a lot of African-American even assistant coaches. But you can't let history stand in your way. You can't let obstacles stop you. Find a way to accomplish what you want to do. And stay encouraged. Don't let people discourage you."

Dungy, now a commentator for CBS Sports, will be the first African-American head coach to enter the hall. Former San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr. will also be inducted into the hall tonight.
