HERNANDO, Florida - A Hernando County deputy is behind bars and charged with attempted arson.Police say 51-year-old Daniel Spiese tried to burn down his garage while his wife and son were home. Spiese has been suspended without pay from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.Spiese is being held without bond at Hernando County Jail.
