Tampa, Florida -- Tampa Police detectives are asking for the public`s help in locating and apprehending 23-year-old Odel Mingo Jr.
He is wanted for robbing and attacking two victims who met with him on 50th St. on Sept. 25. The victims were attempting to purchase an iPad which was advertised on Craigslist.
Police say Mingo and his accomplice stole the victims' money after attacking them. The man and woman sustained severe facial injuries.
Mingo is believed to be in the Temple Terrace area, more specifically in the vicinity of 50th/Temple Heights.
On Sept. 26, Mingo fled on foot from officers in the area of Busch Gardens. He has been seen traveling in a red Dodge Caravan with an unknown tag which was occupied by two unknown black females.
Mingo currently has an active warrant for strong armed robbery and aggravated battery. He has an extensive criminal history and was released from Florida State Prison in 2013.
