PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Pasco County Fire Rescue officials cleared the scene Tuesday afternoon in Holiday after working on a gas leak that caused two lanes of U.S. Highway 19 to shut down.
Authorities said a construction worker hit a gas line at U.S. 19 and Continental Drive near where U.S. 19 splits into Alt. U.S. 19.
One lane remains closed as the gas company works on repairing the line, Pasco County said in an email.
GPS maps say there is traffic congestion in the area Tuesday afternoon from northbound U.S. 19 from before Flora Avenue to Alt. U.S. 19 and Continental Drive.
No other information is available as officials continue to work on the situation.
