ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. -- A skydiver is being airlifted to an area hospital for treatment after a bad landing.
Rescuers were dispatched around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, to Skydive City, located east of Gall Boulevard and west of Highway 98.
Police say a 25-year-old man landed hard on the ground following a jump. Rescue crews called for a medical helicopter to quickly take him to a hospital.
A skydiver was killed in early January following a jump. In November 2017, a 36-year-old man's parachute failed to open, leading to his death.
