Largo police find French Bulldog puppy stolen from pet store

Police say the suspect, Bryant Farfan, was not helpful in finding the dog and showed no remorse over the theft.

LARGO, Fla. -- A French Bulldog puppy stolen from a pet store in Largo has been found safe.

Large police arrested 29-year-old Bryant Farfan in Hillsborough County on Thursday on outstanding warrants. Police say Farfan used a stolen credit card and stolen driver's license to fraudulently buy the puppy on Oct. 2.

The dog was found Friday and is unharmed. Police returned the puppy to All About Puppies in Largo.

Police say Farfan was not helpful in the recovery of the dog and showed no signs of remorse over its theft.

The puppy was found and identified through its microchip, police say.
