Crews battle fire at mobile home park in Clearwater

It appears that at one point, at least 19 emergency vehicles were at the scene.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A fire broke out early Wednesday morning at a mobile home park in Clearwater.

According to the Pinellas County Safety & Emergency Services website, the call came in at 3:19 a.m. from the Bay Aristocrat Village. It's a 55+ community off US-19 near Belleair Road.

Video from the scene shows one home with severe fire damage. By 4:45 a.m., the fire had been contained and crews were looking for any hot spots to put out. It appears the one home was the only structure impacted by the fire.

Neighbors told 10 Tampa Bay the person who lives in the home was out of town on vacation and believed the mobile home was empty.

The fire involved at least 15 emergency vehicles, according to the county's website.
