Sheriff's office release video of deputies allegedly trying to humiliate inmates

The deputies are accused of taping derogatory signs to the inmates' backs.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has released a video of an incident involving deputies allegedly trying to humiliate inmates over the weekend.

Two deputies have already been suspended after being accused of taping derogatory signs to the backs of inmates at the jail.

The deputies taped the signs to their backs and forced the inmates to stand with their foreheads against the wall, the sheriff's office said.

Other inmates were forced to read the signs out loud. 

Deputies Willie Jordan Jr. and Kenneth Rowe have been suspended without pay for 240 hours following the incident, according to reports.
