SARASOTA, Fla. — An 18-year-old died after a motorcycle crash on Wednesday night in Sarasota.
He was riding a motorcycle on Clark Road near Sawyer Loop Road around 9 p.m. when a 59-year-old woman driving an SUV turned left in front of him and they collided. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The speed of the motorcycle remains under investigation, troopers said.
No other information was immediately provided.
