SARASOTA, Fla. -- Sarasota police officers are investigating a "suspicious device" found late Tuesday morning outside a local store.
The object was discovered around 11:30 a.m. outside the Walgreens on North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.
The pharmacy was evacuated as a precaution.
The Explosive Materials Unit is examining the device, which a police spokesperson described as looking like a pressure cooker.
