Weather pushes back holiday events across Tampa Bay

Re-mark your calendars, Friday's weather could impact your weekend plans.

A chance for showers, storms and even severe weather across Tampa Bay has a few Friday events postponed for a sunny day.

The Snow Central event in Winter Haven was postponed until Friday, Dec. 21. The event will have food trucks, cookie decorating, bounce houses and real snow to play in. Also, don’t miss an opportunity to grab a photo with Santa.

Weather also has the 33rd Annual Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade moved back to Sunday, Dec. 16.

The boat parade will showcase more than 45 boats with dazzling lights. It is the biggest boat parade in the Tampa Bay area.

The Bartow Christmas Parade was moved to Thursday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m.
