'Cousin Eddie' empties sewage in one of the year's funniest Christmas displays

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was the inspiration for a Christmas set-up in Lodi, Wisconsin.

LODI, Wisc. -- Here's a life-size Christmas lawn decoration we bet you won't find at Walmart.

For the second year in a row, homeowners in Wisconsin have dressed a mannequin as the character Cousin Eddie from the classic comedy film "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

The realistic-looking Eddie is wearing his famous aviator hat and bathrobe while appearing to empty a plastic sewage pipe into a neighborhood storm drain.

If this doesn't ring a bell, here's a link to the slightly profane scene the display is referencing. (Parents, don't say we didn't warn you first.)

Chevy Chase starred in the 1989 film, which has become a family favorite.

Apparently, local police like the movie, too. Officers in the small city of Lodi shared the below photo on Facebook. You can't see it in the picture, but WISC-TV reports the homeowners added a trailer this year. Click here to see WISC's wider photo.
