Teacher finds container labeled 'provisional ballot box' at Broward County school

Florida Gov. Rick Scott's campaign has filed lawsuits against Broward and Palm Beach counties, claiming the counties aren't able to provide accurate totals of how many ballots still need to be counted.

A Florida teacher reportedly found a locked ballot box sitting inside an elementary school two days after the midterm election in Broward County.

Lakeisha Sorey snapped a photo of a container labeled "provisional ballot box" Thursday at Sunshine Elementary School in Miramar, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Nobody answered the phone Friday when 10News attempted to reach the Broward County Supervisor Of Elections Office.

However, elections officials told the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel that there was nothing but supplies in the box.
