JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Hitting the beach is typical as the heat rises in Florida, except not for alligators.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission removed a 3-foot long alligator from Jacksonville Beach Saturday.
WJAX said a lifeguard paddled out to net the alligator.
FWC said it is uncommon to find an alligator at the beach but it’s not unheard of.
