Honolulu - The highest-scoring Pro Bowl in history ended with the NFC outlasting the AFC 55-to-52 in Honolulu. The NFC erased a 25-point deficit, thanks to MVP Marc Bulger, Dre Bly and Shaun Alexander. Bulger threw for 152 yards and a Pro Bowl-record four touchdowns. Bulger hit Alexander for a five-yard touchdown pass with five-43 left, 53 seconds before Bly’s 32-yard interception return for a TD put the NFC ahead to stay. Alexander’s third touchdown of the game was a two-yard scamper that made it 55-to-45. Torry Holt caught seven passes for 128 yards, including a 12-yard TD grab after the AFC went ahead 38-to-13. The AFC had a chance to force overtime, but Mike Vanderjagt missed a 51-yard field-goal try as time expired. The AFC threw for 542 yards and five touchdowns, three by Peyton Manning. He accounted for three scoring strikes, but his two fourth-quarter interceptions doomed the AFC.
