What the internet is saying after Georgia embarrasses Florida State in Orange Bowl

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The internet was on fire Saturday afternoon throughout the course of Georgia's trouncing over the Florida State Seminoles by a final of 63-3 in the Orange Bowl.

Many took to social media to poke fun at Florida State after they were adamant they deserved a spot in the College Football Playoff, while some were posting that this game proved why UGA was one of the four best teams -- completing the largest win in bowl game history.

FSU had two options:

Play hard, beat Georgia, go undefeated and prove the CFP committee and everyone else wrong.

Or

Quit and get embarrassed so that there isn’t an ounce of sympathy for them from anyone.

They chose the latter.

Georgia beats FSU and TCU by a combined score of 128-10.

UGA set the bowl margin of victory last year and then broke its own record a year later.

For the record, this game doesn’t mean the committee got it right on FSU

It does reinforce the absurdity of UGA dropping from clear #1 to #6 after a 3-point loss that was their first in 2 years

They felt robbed by the CFP as well.

But Georgia locked in while Florida State fell apart.
