Single-game tickets for Rays home games to go on sale next week: What you need to know

Fans can get their hands on some tickets through the MLB Ballpark app and at the team's official website.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Baseball isn't back yet, but you can start marking your calendars for when you want to head back to the ballpark.

The Tampa Bay Rays announced Tuesday that single-game tickets for the 2024 season will go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 – including the return of $10 tickets for every home game. 

Fans can get their hands on some tickets through the MLB Ballpark app and at the team's official website. 

The app is free to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The team added that advance parking will be available for purchase in March. 

Only mobile tickets are allowed to enter Tropicana Field, so any paper tickets or screenshots will not be accepted by event officials. 

Season members and spring season ticket holders for the Rays will get information soon regarding special single-game presale opportunities. 

Fans who aren't season members can still access a special online presale window at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 by signing up for the Rays Insider email newsletters. For fans who are already signed up, there's no need to re-subscribe.

The Rays also announced game times for its 2024 season. 

Some highlight matchups include against the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets. 

Tampa Bay will play its Opening Day game against Toronto at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, March 28 inside Tropicana Field.  

"A majority of weekday home games will start at either 1:10 p.m. or 6:50 p.m.," the news release says. "Two weekday home games will start at 12:10 p.m: Wednesday, June 26 against the Seattle Mariners and Wednesday, July 31 against the Miami Marlins. First pitch on Monday, September 2 (Labor Day) against the Minnesota Twins is slated for 6:50 p.m."

All Saturday home games will start at 4:10 p.m. with the only exception occurring on May 4 against the Mets and Aug. 10 against the Baltimore Orioles. Those game times will be announced at a later date. 

Home games on Sunday will begin at 1:40 p.m.
