TAMPA, Fla. — Voyagers in the Tampa Bay area will be sailing in style this June.

Margaritaville at Sea, known for bringing Margaritaville’s hospitality to the open ocean for a floating offshore vacation, is adding a new party animal to its fleet — the cruise line’s "Islander" ship.

Sailing out of Port Tampa Bay, it will host over 1,100 staterooms complete with all new furnishings, fixtures and Margaritaville's signature bedding, pillows and linens. The balconies will be spacious, with large walk-in showers and premium furnishings, among other amenities, according to a news release.

The styling of its six “ultra-luxury” signature suites will draw inspiration from Jimmy Buffett’s iconic music catalog including songs “Come Monday” and “Everlasting Moon."

“As we expand, we want to ensure that travelers are immediately transported to the Margaritaville state of mind by featuring some of our more popular venues throughout our hotels, resorts, and restaurants,” Margaritaville Chief Operating Officer Brad Schwaeble said in a statement.

The Islander will set sail for the first time for four nights on June 14 from Tampa Bay Port, making a stop in Cozumel, Mexico.
