10 Weather: Mix of clouds and sun for your Friday; stray storm possible

Our rain chances increase slightly for the end of the workweek while our high temperatures drop by a few degrees.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Our next frontal boundary will sweep the area Friday evening bringing an isolated rain chance but more importantly, less humid weather for Mother's Day.

Friday: Early fog may be an issue for some morning commuters. Otherwise, we're on our way to another hot and humid afternoon as temperatures soar toward the middle to upper 80s along the coast and closer to the lower 90s inland. Our next front allows for isolated rain chances with an isolated storm possible along the Nature Coast. Rain chance: 20%

Saturday: Expect a little relief after some sprinkles and some dry air returns as daytime high temperatures make their way near 88 degrees again. Sun & clouds High temperature: 88, Rain chance: 10% during the morning hours

Mother's Day: For all the moms out there we have beautiful conditions with mostly sunny skies and a drop in humidity. It will be a great day to celebrate Mom outside but make sure you are hydrated as we still have a high temperature of 89 degrees. Mostly Sunny, High of 89, and Rain chance: 0%

Rest of the weekend: We could see slight relief as a cold front tries to push through and brings a slight drop in humidity with dry conditions in time for Mother's Day. High temperatures will hover around the middle 80s on both Saturday and Sunday.
