10 Weather: Stray shower chances ride along front slowly passing through

Humidity drops behind the front allowing for a refreshing change Mother's Day

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Our next frontal boundary will sweep the area Friday evening bringing an isolated rain chance but more importantly, less humid weather for Mother's Day.

Tonight: The opportunity for rain is slim, but not zero, as the remainder of our frontal boundary continues to sink southward. Temperatures tonight remain warm in the mid to upper 70s with muggy air stuck in place.

Saturday: Expect a little relief after some sprinkles and some dry air returns as daytime high temperatures make their way towards the upper 80s again. The afternoon will feature sunshine and decreasing cloud cover. Rain chance: 20% for the morning.

Mother's Day: For all the moms out there we have beautiful conditions with mostly sunny skies and a drop in humidity. It will be a great day to celebrate Mom. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 80s with dewpoints in the comfy-for-Florida range, close to the lower 60s.
