People want police to address racial profiling. Police say they can’t fix it if they don’t know about it

Faith and Action for Strength Together, or FAST, organized the event, encouraging a handful of people to submit so-called law enforcement interaction cards detailing any alleged racial profiling they wanted to be investigated. The cards were submitted to St. Pete Police Chief Anthony Holloway, Clearwater Police Chief Daniel Slaughter and Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri: both of whom were in attendance and committed to investigating any complaints.
