RIVERVIEW, Fla. — Hillsborough County detectives are investigating the death of a person whose body was found Thursday morning in Riverview, according to a news release.
The body was located around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Riverview Drive, deputies said in the release.
The cause of death is unclear at this time. The medical examiner's office is currently working to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
"Our detectives are working to identify this person and determine what could have led to their death," Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. "We're asking if anyone has information to contact our detectives. Any information could help our investigation."
